English task- Thursday and Friday
Your task is to write a descriptive poem about autumn using your planning sheet from Tuesday to help you. Each verse must be four lines long, and each line must contain a 'what' and an 'action'.
Try to include similes, metaphors, personification and interesting noun phrases. Write it up neatly and decorate it with an attractive border. Or, print off the border I have uploaded below. Remember to take your time and do it over two days. I look forward to reading them next week.

Use the PowerPoint below, the information provided on the word documents provided, and your own research to write an A3 sized fact file or poster about one aspect of Anglo Saxon life. Include information and illustrations so that your work is interesting and attractive. You can use two pages in your exercise book if you like.
