Y1 looked at the art work of Yinka Shonibare, he is a British / Nigerian artist.
Y2 learned about Rosa Parks and how she lived with racism growing up.
Y3 learned about the peaceful protests of Gandhi and wrote their own poems inspired by him
Y1 read the story of Handa's Hen and write descriptions about the animals in the book.
Y4 wrote about Mary Seacole who is known for her medical work in the Crimean war.
