I hope you are keeping as well as possible in these difficult and challenging times.

I have detailed some websites that might be of use to you. Some of the sites will give you, as parents, information and advice whilst other sites will be useful to share with your child to help them understand and process what is happening without causing undue anxiety.

 

Information for Parents

This organisation aims to help children and young people to get the best possible mental health support and develop their resilience. There is much advice on the site to help children manage their fears and anxieties.

This site offers a wealth of advice and resources to support children with SEND and offers links to other organisations which offer advice too.

     This is a useful guide to share with your child.

Pathways are doing a daily blog on aspects of the Corona Virus. They cover a different issue each day and the information is clear and helpful for children.

The National Autistic Society has a wealth or resources which will be of use to all children. There are links to social stories which are a useful way of helping children understand difficult situations.
