Year 1

Summer first Half Term
This Half Term we will be learning about Traditional Tales. We will be learning about the features of them and we will be re-telling some of them. We will also be thinking about good adjectives so that we can build up to writing good quality descriptions. For Science we will be learning about Plants and Growth. The children will be identifying plants in the local environment and they will be thinking about the conditions need ed to make plants grow well.
We will be continuing with our topic on significant people for part of this term.
