Dear Year 4,
We have had another excellent week, with lots of smiles and hard work. My highlights of the week were doing yoga to help our wellbeing and seeing all the amazing things you have been doing in 'Show and Tell'. We had a Titanic made out of lego, a lesson on different rope knots, a guitar performance and much more! What will we have next Friday? If you didn't have a turn this week, that will be your time to shine. You also finished off your fractions work very well and your work on powerful verbs and speech-marks was fantastic.
This week will be a little bit different because we will be doing lots of art! We will be producing our own pictures of volcanic landscapes and learning about two famous artists: Claude Monet and David Hockney. We will be learning about telling the time in Maths, and in Science we will be finishing off our 'States of Matter' topic, with an experiment about evaporation.
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend.
From Mrs. Simon
