During Arts Week each class took one country to study their arts, in the form of poetry, music, clay work, craft, painting and printing. The children worked with staff from Altrincham College of Art and Wellington to sing and print African masks.
On Friday 18th October 'Pop Project' performed a live show a series of songs linked to the theme of books. The performance was beautifully crafted with pictures, video footage, dressing up and puppets to entice children to read but also appreciate music linked to the period of the book. By the end of the show the children had experienced books from across the decades with live musical accompaniment-fabulous!
Work is displayed around school and a special display shows a range from every class.
