Welcome to Well Green's Reception Class

The children have an exciting final half term in front of them. Reception have visitors staying in the classroom for two weeks! Watch this class page for photographs of our new fluffy class members. We will be going to Delamere Forest on Wednesday 21st June to investigate mini-beasts, build dens and a host of outdoor experiences. The children will need their p.e. kit every week, particularly on Friday 23rd June when it is the annual Sports Day. You will receive further details closer to the event. It  will be Green Day on Friday 30th June when the children will be focusing on sustainable activities. General Notices:

• Music with Mrs. Cooper is every Tuesday
• Please sign your child's Reading Record at least four times a week to qualify for the Reading Reward Scheme. The book title in your child's Reading Record is their individual scheme book. This text needs to be read at least three times to ensure FLUENCY, COMPREHENSION and INTONATION. Reading every day is preferable. Every week, your child chooses a picture book for you to read and share with them. 'Book Snuggles' are a great end to a busy day. The third text in your child’s book bag will either be a Floppy Phonics ‘Words and Phrases’ which consolidates taught phonemes, or an additional book you can share together.
• Busy Bee books need to be returned every Wednesday
• Please label every item of clothing, including your child's water bottle 
• Book bags and named water bottle need to be sent in every day
