Week beginning: 20th July

Hi

Another week has passed us by- I hope it has been another good one for you all! This is the last time I will be updating the Year 2 homework page as we finish the school year for the summer holidays this week. It is such a shame that the year has ended in this strange way and that we didn't get to have our half term together but I am looking forward to seeing some of you on Thursday if you have chosen to come in for one of the Year 2 sessions to finish off the year.

This week I have uploaded some Summer themed activity booklets for both Maths and English to help you to practise some key skills from Year 2. You should pick a couple of activities to complete this week and if you would like some tasks to do over the summer holidays, you can complete the rest of the booklets.

There is also one last Science task to complete- create a poster about the different types of minibeasts. You can find some information to help you with this on the slideshow from last week and can do some of your own research too. You can either complete it on the sheet provided or set it out in your own way.

Thank you all for your support during these unusual and sometimes difficult circumstances and thank you for keeping me updated on the children's home learning. 

I hope you all have a fantastic Summer and I wish the children all the best for Year 3.
