Welcome back Year 1
I hope that you have had a nice time over the holiday. We have had some nice weather, so I hope that you have managed to get outside and go to the park. I have seen lots of spring flowers popping up and it fills you with hope that we are on the way to warmer weather and happy days. Hopefully we will be all back at school by March 8th.
For the first week back we will be learning about mini-beasts. This is our usual topic for Book Week. We usually spend 2 weeks on this because we have our class text to share. It would be great if you could get out into the garden and do some hunts for mini-beasts during these weeks. It may be limited what you find because it is still a little cold for most of them.
