Sports Events and Clubs
At Well Green we support all children to be physical and mentally active.
We provide a minimum of 2 hours of PE lessons per week. Alongside our high-quality PE teaching, our young people have many opportunities to participate in a wide range of sports. Students of all ages can access football and tennis clubs at lunchtimes and after-school. Our football and netball teams allow year 5 and year 6 children to increase their confidence in both sports, with weekly practices and participation in tournaments and games with other schools.
At chess club, the children develop focus and strategic thinking, the main skills required to play the game.
Our 2 netball teams have demonstrated increasing technical proficiency and strategic awareness in recent games!
