The big question- what are mini-beasts like?
Using clay
Clay work is important for children in EYFS. Rolling and manipulating clay strengthens your child's finger, wrist and arm muscles. This is of key importance because it will enable your child to develop the muscles they need for writing. Without this development, your child will struggle to hold the pencil correctly and write for any length of time.
We listened to 'Flight of the Bumblebee' by Korsakov. We looked at different instruments in the orchestra. We learnt that a group of people using instruments is called an 'orchestra.' We learnt the words 'conductor' and 'baton.'
