Ofsted
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you will see from our recent Ofsted report, there are many positives to celebrate, and we are pleased that aspects of school life that make Well Green a wonderful school have been recognised by the team.
However, there are other aspects of the report that make this a difficult read.
I fully appreciate that some of the findings are of serious concern, and many of you will understandably have questions about what this means for our school and for your children.
As the Headteacher at Well Green Primary School, I want to reassure you that the leadership team, governing body and I take the outcomes of this report extremely seriously. We are already taking swift and decisive action to address the areas identified, and are fully committed to ensuring that Well Green remains a happy, safe and nurturing place for every child.
I met with parents on Thursday 26th March to discuss the outcomes of this report, and take questions from the parent community. A record of the evenings discussion can be found on this page.
I am so proud to be headteacher at Well Green and it is my privilege to lead our school. Since I started in September, I have been grateful for the support of the school community and know that together we will work with determination to strengthen our school and build on the many positive things that make Well Green such a special place.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Tien‑Rhimes
Headteacher
